I take my hat off to everyone taking part in “It’s a Knockout” yesterday in Rushden. It wore me out just watching! Everyone had paid £35 to take part in this event, organised by the Rotary Club of Rushden Higham. The objective, apart from having fun, was to raise money for the Cynthia Spencer Hospice, The Warwickshire and Northants Air Ambulance, and other Rotary supported charities.
Apart from the final, there are three games operating at the same time, which means it is pretty well impossible to take photos of everyone having a go at every game, so I mostly concentrated on positioning myself where I could get the most interesting shots.
We were very lucky that the rain held off (yes, I have photographed these events in the pouring rain too) – so people only got wet during the water games!
The rest of the photos are here.
I have a special interest in the Cynthia Spencer Hospice myself, so I am very happy to donate a percentage of all sales to help support this wonderful local facility.
